Dr. Desousa joined the Associated Anesthesiologists of the Finger Lakes in July of 2009. His hospital affiliations include:

• Arnot Ogden Medical Center
• Ira Davenport Memorial Hospital

Dr. Desousa received his undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth and his medical training at University of Massachusetts Medical School. He completed his internship year in internal medicine at Dartmouth Medical Center in New Hampshire. Dr. Desousa completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Temple University Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA, where he served as chief resident during his final year.

Dr. Desousa is board eligible in Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Association of Anesthesiologists, New York State Society of Anesthesiologists, and the American Medical Association.

Dr Desousa currently resides in Horseheads, NY and enjoys running.
